Mappers thrive on Modelers brains and skills.

Which is why Mapper/Modeler hybrids (leik me kthx) are just so freaking hot.

did matrix every make u a surfboard? and poly whoring is what all teh pro's do. i mean making a speaker thats 100k polies isnt bad at all.

For skinning models, you really need to use zBrush. It lets you paint on 3D stuff - basically, think of photoshop, but you can paint on a 3D model.
