Sliding Doors

In this tutorial you will learn how to make a sliding door. The making of the door is very easy, so dont worry about a thing sweetcakes. Let's start.

First you need the brush you're going to use for the door. I used the "LAB1_DOOR7" texture for this. Next, you pick your brush, and Cntl-T it, so that it become an entity. Then you pick func_door from the list. Now you actually got your door. It should look a little like this:

and that's it. Very easy, aint it? You will maybe notice, that the door does'nt open the direction you want it to. This can be solved very easily. In your properties for the door, you will see a little circle in the right upper right corner. The direction the white arrow is pointing, is the direction your door will open in the top-down view-window in Hammer.
